CPM for all-party meet on Jalayagnam works

CPM floor leader and Miryalguda MLA Julakanti Ranga Reddy has demanded that the state government convene an all-party meeting on Jalayagnam. After giving a memorandum to the chief minister on the issue here on Monday, he said crores of rupees were being spent on irrigation projects but the targeted area is yet to receive water. Twenty-six projects were planned to be completed in five years to provide irrigation water to 46 lakh acres but even after three years nothing has happened. AMRP and Sriram Sagar project second phase are crucial for Telangana.
