A pall of gloom descended on Kubeer, Mudhole and Bhainsa mandals in Adilabad district following the death of Union minister Vilasrao Deshmukh as his wife belongs to the district.
Vilasrao had married Pulsikar Rangarao's (first Adilabad ZP chairman) daughter Vaishali 30 years ago. Rangarao belonged to Pulsi in Kubeer mandal. In 2006, Deshmukh visited Adilabad district. Deshmukh had been instrumental in completion of Gaddenna vagu project.
Chief minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy, PCC president Botcha Satyanarayana, TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu and expressed their condolences over Vilasrao’s death.
