TDP MLC SV Satish Reddy threw a water bottle at HLC superintending engineer KV Prasad, while he was explaining about water availability and its allocation at the Irrigation Advisory Board meeting on the allocation of HLC water here on Wednesday.
At the meeting, Proddatur TDP MLA M Linga Reddy wanted an explaination from the official why they didnot release the allotted water to Pulivendula Branch Canal (PBC) last year for which Pulivendula town faced a major drinking water crisis.
