In protest against the TDP decision to support the categorisation of SCs in the state, Mala Mahanadu activists obstructed Telugu Desam party president Nara Chandrababu Naidu’s convoy during a visit to his own constituency, in Shantipuram mandal, near here on Saturday.
The former chief minister was on his way to attend a party workers meeting at Krushi Vyvasaya Vignana Kendram, when the activists blocked his convoy. When his convoy was passing through, the activists came on to the road and raised slogans against Chandrababu Naidu and his party. They blocked the road for at least 10 minutes.
