One woman died and four other women were injured, when the auto in which they were travelling went out of control and overturned near Gopavaram cross of Proddatur mandal on Sunday.
The deceased has been identified as P Santhamma (40) from Tangatur village. All the injured have been rushed to Proddatur government hospital. Santhamma used to eke out a livelihood by selling vegetables.
She along with others occupied an auto with the vegetables and were coming to Proddatur town when the accident occurred.
