TDP, TRS and left parties separately organised protests all over the district. Rasta rokos, dharnas and burning of effigies took place. The cadres of political parties took the agitation to remote areas.
Farmers attacked a substation in Dolatabad and damaged the furniture. In the same mandal, protestors detained the staff of Tukkapur village. In Mirdoddi, villagers detained the panchayat staff in protest against the power crisis.
The TDP and TRS separately organised protest programmes in Zaheerabad by locking up the substation.
The CPM organised a rast roko in Kondapur village. The TDP cadre attacked AP Transco DE office in Medak.
