President Pranab Mukherjee and prime minister Manmohan Singh will visit the state on September 8 and 9 respectively. Both the leaders will be visiting the state separately.
While the President will be visiting the hill shrine of Lord Venkateswara on Tirumala for darshan and participate in locally arranged programmes, the prime minister will be arriving at SHAR in Sriharikota of Nellore district for witnessing the launch of PSLV C-21 rocket.
According a tentative schedule, Mukherjee will arrive at Tirupati from Chennai on September 8 and proceed to Tirumala where he will stay for the night and have darshan of the Lord on next morning.
