VJMS leader asks people to finish off Sonia, KCR politically

Visalandhra Jana Maha Sabha (VJMS) general secretary Dr Parakala Prabhakar has advised people to put an end to the political life of AICC president Sonia Gandhi and Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) president Kalvakuntla Chandrasekhar Rao.

Addressing ‘Samaykya Galam’, a public meeting conducted at Pushakara Ghat here on Friday night, he said the two leaders were trying to tear the unified state into pieces. Sonia Gandhi should come to our area and tender an apology openly.

State and Central ministers, MPs and MLAs cheated the people and they are thinking that the Samaikyandhra agitation would fizzle out in course of  time. All the political parties are guilty in this regard and it is our duty to observe the movement of netas, said Prabhakar.

It is time Telugu-speaking people proved that they were not inefficient. Samaikyandhra agitation should be continued  till the UPA government dropped its decision to bifurcate the state.

‘If necessary, we should prepare ourselves for sacrifice,’  Prabhakar averred.  The agitation should continue peacefully, not giving scope for any violence, he said. If there is any violence, the government would deploy forces and also impose President’s rule to complete the process of the division of the state. It is time Sonia and  Chandrasekhar Rao were taught a lesson, said Prabhakar.

In the Congress core committee there is not even a single leader from Andhra Pradesh. The leaders from Jammu and Kashmir, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh and Tamil Nadu find place in the ‘chor’ committee, Prabhakar said. How can they decide about the bifurcation of the state, when there is no leader from the state? he asked.

Chandrasekhar Rao led the Telangana agitation based on lies and untruthful statements, he alleged.

Even in Telangana majority people are not interested in the division of the state. Hyderabad belongs to all the people in the state. All the Telugu people should fight against the division, which is the need of the hour, he averred.

Samaikyandhra Pari Rakshana Samithi leaders Pantham Kondala Rao, Mupalla Subba Rao, G Haribabu, GA Bhushan Babu, Satyanarayana and many others participated in the meeting.
