Two of the 10 farm workers who fell ill after consuming spurious toddy at Ellapuram village in Yellandu mandal on Wednesday, died at government hospital here on Thursday. The deceased were identified as K Swamy (40) and M Sai (14). B Lingya and Ranjit are battling for life. The farm labourers consumed spurious toddy after the end of their day’s work. When they developed vomitings, the farm workers were admitted to a local government hospital. Later, they were shifted to the government hospital in the district headquarters.
