Man stung to death

Mahamkali Ramaiah (76) of Pulipadu village in Gurajala mandal was killed in a bee attack on Friday.

Sources said more than 50 pensioners gathered at the Zilla Parishad High School in the village to receive their pensions from DRDA authorities.

Meanwhile, a child hurled a stone at a nearby beehive.The disturbed bees attacked people on the school premises. Ramaiah who could not shield himself, was stung to death.

Mekala Mariyamma (63) also failed to escape from the bee attack.

The physically challenged woman who suffered serious injuries,is battling for life at a community health centre in Gurajala.

Three more pensioners were also injured
