Speaker visits Srisailam

Speaker Nadendla Manohar on Saturday said Chenchu SHG women would be given house site pattas as part of measures for self-empowerment of tribal women.

Manohar interacted with tribal SHG women at Sunnipenta village in Kurnool district and heard officials’ presentation on proposals for roads, drinking water schemes and solar lighting in Chenchu hamlets in the Nallamala forest.

He also visited the biodiversity centre, SHG Bhavan and the tribal welfare hostel in the village.
