State to get two national awards for e-governance

Andhra Pradesh will get two national awards for e-governance in two categories for year 2012-13.

The central government is holding a two-day National Conference on e-Governance at Jaipur in Rajasthan from Monday.

The national awards for e-governance for the year 2012-13 will be presented during the conference.

The awards are given in seven categories concerning various aspects of e-governance.

The awards distinguish some of the best Government-to- Government (G2G), Government-to-Citizen (G2C) and Government-to- Business  (G2B) initiatives taken by various government departments and public sector undertakings in the State.
