Congress leaders on Wednesday lodged a complaint with the police that a morphed photograph of chief minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy has been uploaded on a social networking website depicting him in a derogatory manner.
The complaint has been lodged at Central Crime Station alleging that unidentified persons have posted the images of Kiran Kumar Reddy on a social networking site to dent his image.
The complainant, M Ajay, a Congress functionary, alleged that unidentified persons have been posting abusive content on the facebook site. The content and photos were reportedly posted on a page titled, ‘Telangana Muddubidda.’
The Congress functionaries suspect the role of some Telangana protagonists behind the posting of the photos and the content.
Meanwhile, the police have begun investigation into the complaint. However, no case has been registered.
Police have also asked the social networking site managers to remove the page from the site.
