The High Court on Thursday called for records from the state government to know the reasons for postponing elections to Vallapalli, Sajjapuram and Pathasanthamagulur Primary Agricultural Cooperative Societies (PACSs) in Prakasam district.
Justice L Narasimha Reddy was dealing with three writ petitions filed separately against government’s orders postponing elections to managing committees of the above three societies. Hearing was adjourned to Friday. Petitioners urged the court to direct the government to conduct elections to the societies concerned.
