TRS MLA T Harish Rao on Saturday wrote to the chairman and managing director of the Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL) demanding that it should implement the reservation for local employees as regards promotions as per the Presidential Order under Article 371 D.
Harish Rao said the company’s recent circular regarding promotions seemed to disregard the quota for local employees in promotions. This was a clear violation of the Presidential Order, he said. He demanded that the circular should be withdrawn and a 60 per cent reservation for lost employees must be given. He also demanded serious action the officials who are neglected the Presidential Order while issuing the circular.
