Regional revenue seminars will be conducted in Tirupati on February 26, Vijayawada on February 27 and Hyderabad on March 2, revenue minister N Raghuveera Reddy said here on Monday. He expressed displeasure over the attitude of the APPSC, which failed to issue a notification for filling 133 deputy tahsildar posts in the revenue department.
Though the state government cleared the file and sent it to APPSC long ago, the notification is yet to be issued by the Service Commission. The minister told the officials concerned to pursue the matter with the APPSC.
Raghuveera was also unhappy with the APPSC for not announcing the results of the written examination conducted for junior assistant posts.
The finance department will soon clear the files relating to the filling of 1,600 VRO and 120 deputy surveyor posts in the revenue department, he said.
