Search on for abducted engineer

Assam police have intensified search for kidnapped engineer Ch Pydi Raju. They have gathered that the engineer was kidnapped by the militants of National Democratic Front of Bodoland, but did not receive any information or demands from NDFB.

Director general of police Jayanta Narayan Choudary said the police intensified search operations and are expecting NDFB demands.

“Out first priority to get Raju released safely. Later, we will decide the next course of action,” the DGP said.Meanwhile, the family members of Raju are worried and residents of Gajuwka, where the family lives, are visiting the house to console them.
