State put on high alert

Police sounded high alert in the state capital and other cities across the state following the bomb blasts in Dilsukhnagar in Hyderabad on Thursday.

Security personnel with dog squads have begun search operations at busy market areas in Hyderabad soon after the bomb blasts.

“Security has been stepped up in sensitive areas, and railway and bus stations across the state,” a senior police official said. According to him, security personnel have been alerted to face any untoward incident.
