Maoists gun down tribal

Maoists have allegedly shot dead a 40-year-old tribal after branding him a ‘police informer’ at Dharmaram village of Khammam district Wednesday. Cops said Arem Sammaiah was kidnapped from his residence at Dharmaram village by suspected Maoists three days ago.

His body was found at Narsingapeta village Tuesday. Kothagudem officer on special duty T Srinivasa Rao condemned claimed that Samaiah was not an informer.
