Four advocates, who were appointed as district judges (entry level) in direct recruitment last month, were given postings on Friday. Besides, some district and sessions judges were transferred and given new postings. According to a notification issued by the High Court, Shaik Inthiaz Ahmad, advocate from Guntur district, is posted as special judge for trial of cases under the SCs and STs (POA) Act-cum-IV additional district and sessions judge, Kadapa.
Suneetha Kunchala, advocate from Prakasam district, is posted as first additional district and sessions judge, Adilabad. Advocates M Ramakrishna Sunitha and E Bhima Rao of Visakhapatnam and East Godavari districts are posted as first additional district and session judge, Nalgonda and 7th additional district and sessions judge, Vijayawada respectively.
The High Court also transferred some district judges. Mallampati Gandhi, appointed as district and sessions judge from the cadre of senior civil judge, is transferred and posted as chairman, Land Reforms Appellate Tribunal-cum-VII addtiional district and sessions judge, LB Nagar, Ranga Reddy district. KV Vijaya Kumar, 2nd additional district and sessions judge, Madanapalle in Chittoor district, is posted as first additional district and sessions judge, Chittoor in place of VC Gunnaiah who is transferred and posted as 10th additional district and sessions judge, Tirupati (new court sanctioned by the government).
P Adinarayana, judge of family court, LB Nagar, is posted as 9th additional chief judge, city civil court (post kept vacant). A Giridhar, first additional district and sessions judge, Machilipatnam, Krishna district, is posted as special judge for SPE and ACB cases-cum-III additional district and sessions judge, Vijayawada.
