Assuring that APNGOs will conduct the ‘Save AP, Chalo Hyderabad’ meeting here on Saturday in a peaceful manner, APNGOs Association president P Ashok Babu has thundered that if officials or others try to obstruct the meeting, APNGOs will stop the very process of Telangana in Delhi.

Speaking to reporters here on Thursday,he said creation of Telangana state would be possible only if the peoples of all the regions accepted it. He hoped that Telangana people would not attack the meeting and allow APNGOs to hold it in a peaceful manner.

The APNGOs’ leader said they invited Andhra and Rayalaseema political leaders to the  meeting and appealed to police officials to allow them to address the meeting. He said they invited politicians to the meeting since there was nothing wrong in it.  He alleged that the police were creating troubles for APNGOs by not giving them possession of LB Stadium, the venue of the meeting, in advance.

“Officials want us to make arrangements for the public meeting only from Friday evening but one day is not sufficient to make arrangements for the meeting which is likely to be attended by around 50,000 employees,’’ he said.
