Active participation of people in large numbers in Samaikya Garjana at Srikakulam and in Laksha Jana Keka at Kasibugga has motivated people to intensify the agitations for Samaikyandhra in the district.
Revenue department employees have been continuing to protest at the collectorate. Zilla parishad JAC members staged a protest by stopping the pedestrians on the road and polished their shoes.
At the Seven- Road Junction vocational teachers continued their protest.
TDP leader Appala Suryanarayana participated in the relay hunger strike at the junction Saturday.
Suryanarayana said that the agitation was being carried forward with the support of the public and TDP would always support the latter.
Cement workers union at Rajam participated in a rally supporting Samaikyandhra. Teachers have carried empty pots while participating in a rally at Palakonda.
