Babu to Attend Slew of Events in Vijayawada Tomorrow

Chief minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu will participate in several programmes in the city Saturday.

VIJAYAWADA: Chief minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu will participate in several programmes in the city Saturday.

This will be the CM’s first visit to the district after the swearing-in ceremony at Mangalagiri on June 8.

Chandrababu will reach Gannavaram airport by 10.45 am and attend a felicitation ceremony organised by APNGO association at Devayya auditorium on the Loyola College premises.

Later, Chandrababu will conduct a review meeting with the district officials at the irrigation office.

Besides, the CM will attend a TDP workers meeting along with people’s representatives and party members at NAC kalyana mandapam here. The CM’s trip will be concluded by taking part in Iftaar party at Seshasai kalyana mandapam which is scheduled at 6.30 pm.

Deputy chief ministers KE Krishna Murthy and N Chinarajappa along with ministers Yanamala Ramakrishnudu, Devineni Umamaheswara Rao, Kamineni Srinivas, Kollu Ravindra and MPs Konakalla Narayana Rao, Kesineni Srinivas aka Nani and Sujana Chowdary will accompany the CM.

Meanwhile, joint collector J Murali ordered the district officials to attend the meeting with detailed information. Local leaders and district officials are engaged in making necessary arrangements for the CM’s visit.
