GUNTUR: Drivers can drive vehicles safely only when good working conditions are provided, collector Kantilal Dande said and urged drivers to focus on driving carefully now that most accidents are occurring due to human mistakes, in an address during the Road Safety Week celebrations here Saturday.
The collector told the drivers and RTC management to strive hard and make Guntur an accident-free district. Later, he presented letters of appreciation to the best drivers and mementoes to school children who won the essay writing contest on road safety. Guntur deputy transport commissioner V Sunder and RTC regional manager PV Rama Rao were present.
