CM to Visit Guntur on Aug 6, 7

District collector Kantilal Dande ordered the district officials to make necessary arrangements for the CM’s visit on August 6 and 7 at a review meeting held here at the collector’s camp office Tuesday.

GUNTUR: District collector Kantilal Dande ordered the district officials to make necessary arrangements for the CM’s visit on August 6 and 7 at a review meeting held here at the collector’s camp office Tuesday.

Speaking at the meeting, he asked the officials of various departments to be ready with essential reports.  On Wednesday (Aug 6), Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu will inaugurate several development and welfare programmes at different places in the district and will also interact with women of various thrift groups at Ponnur. 

Later, he will conduct a review meeting with the district officials at the zilla parishad meeting hall.

On Thursday (Aug 7) the CM will inaugurate several schemes and later in the afternoon, he will interact with farmers in one of the constituencies in the district. District revenue officer K Nagababu and officials of various departments attended the meeting.

Babu’s vizag Visit Put Off

Visakhapatnam: Chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu’s two-day visit to the district has been cancelled due to bad weather conditions. As the meteorological department predicted widespread rains during the next 48 hours across the state, the CM’s tour has been put off. HRD minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao, who is reviewing Chandrababu’s programmes in Nakkapalli Tuesday, was informed about the same by the CM’s office. Chandrababu was supposed to interact with SHG women, farmers and attend a public meeting each at Payakaraopeta, Yelamanchili and Chodavaram assembly constituencies in the district on July 30 and 31.
