TIRUPATI: Members of the APSRTC Employees’ Union, who announced to go on an indefinite strike from September 11, will organise ‘Padayatra’ to Tirumala from Alipiri on Tuesday in the name of ‘RTC Ni Kapadu Govinda’.

According to APSRTC Employees Union additional general secretary P Damodar, as the government is not responding to their demand of protecting RTC and addressing the long pending problems of the Corporation workers, they are organising the novel programme seeking Lord’s intervention.

“We are going to launch the proposed indefinite strike from Sept 11 and are sure that some of the other unions would also join the strike in the interest of the organisation and workers,” he said.
