VIJAYAWADA: District collector M Raghunandana Rao has said that all arrangements have been made to ensure peaceful byelections to the Nandigama Assembly constituency.
During a video conference meeting with the chief electoral officer (CEO) Thursday, the district collector observed that measures were being taken to stop illegal practices during the election. He also mentioned that an election control room would be set up in Vijayawada Friday. SP G Vijaya Kumar disclosed the details of police bandobust to the CEO.
