VIJAYAWADA: An autorickshaw driver was arrested by the Ibrahimpatnam police Saturday for allegedly assaulting sexually a minor girl at Kilesapuram village in Ibrahimpatanam near here.
The accused allegedly raped a 15-year-old girl, studying in class 9, after taking her, in his autorickshaw, to a secluded place on Kondapalli hill with the help of his friends Nagendrababu and Nagamani. West Zone ACP S Raghava Rao said that the police had also arrested Nagendrababu and Nagamani for abetting the crime.
