VISAKHAPATNAM: The TSR Kala Peetham has announced the ‘Viswa Vikhyatha Sangeetha Kalanidhi title to popular playback singer K J Yesudas. The title will be presented to Yesudas by Tamil Nadu governor K Rosaiah and Rajya Sabha vice-chairman PJ Kurien on the occasion of Rajya Sabha member T Subbarami Reddy’s birthday celebrations to be held at the Port Stadium in the city on September 17.
Subbarami Reddy, disclosing details of the celebrations here Saturday, said a ‘Sarvadharma Sammelan’ would also be organised. Noted film actors, producers, ministers, MPs, MLAs and political leaders of various parties would attend. Seer of Sri Sarada Peetham Sri Swaroopa Nandendra Swamy would be the chief guest, he added.
