TIRUPATI: Joint Executive Officer K S Sreenivasa Raju on Tuesday inspected the ongoing arrangements for the annual Srivari Brahmotsavams, which are scheduled to take place from September 26 to October 4, along with various HODs and police officials at  Tirumala. Later, he told newsmen that almost all the arrangements were nearing completion as less than 10 days’ time was left for the annual religious fete. “This time, we are very keen to organise this great event in a more systematic manner than before and are making elaborate arrangements in this regard”, he said. Earlier, the JEO inspected the GNC Toll Gate area, the entry point to Tirumala, and discussed with the traffic police and the officials of  the TTD Vigilance and Engineering Wings the regulation of the traffic there without causing any trouble to the pedestrian pilgrims. The JEO also went round the Four Mada streets and visited the Koluvu Mandapam and inspected the ongoing arrangements of beautification in these areas. He also checked the bio-metric entry point.
