Mega Convention Centres in 3 AP Cities

HYDERABAD: Andhra Pradesh government is planning to build three mega convention centres at Vijayawada, Visakhapatnam and Tirupati. In a review meeting held at the Camp Office here on Friday, Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu asked officials to identify land for setting up Shilparamams in every district headquarters and municipal corporations. He said the government would take up tourism projects in a PPP or BOT mode. The chief minister said the government would also promote beach tourism.   He said spiritual tourism would be promoted through Art of Living and centres of Baba Ramdev besides providing boating facility from Rajahmundry to Suryalanka.
