HYDERABAD: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu will be celebrating his 66th birthday in Anantapur district by taking part in Neeru-Chettu programme on Monday.
Naidu would leave for Puttaparthi on a special flight on Monday and participate in his birthday celebrations organised by local TDP leaders by cutting a special cake.
After that he would visit the Maha Samadhi of Satya Sai Baba. Later, he would review ongoing developmental works in Anantapur district. IT Minister Palle Raghunath Reddy, Civil Supplies Minister Paritala Sunitha and other leaders would accompany Naidu.
“Chief Minister Naidu has asked party leaders and workers not to celebrate his birthday on a grand scale. Instead, he has asked them to take up welfare activities in their respective districts,” said Raghunatha Reddy.
Meanwhile, party leaders are making arrangements to celebrate their leader’s birthday at the party headquarters, NTR Trust Bhavan, here. A few senior party leaders and youth wing leaders would be cutting cake to mark the birthday celebration of the Chief Minister.
