GUNTUR: With complaints pouring in from senior citizens that they have been forced to pay full amount with some of the staff denying them the 25 percent fare concession, the Guntur Regional APSRTC officials called upon the senior citizens to inform about their difficulties to the officials at the APSRTC control room.
Though, the APSRTC management implemented 25 percent concession on fare for senior citizens from July 1, some of the conductors, who were unaware of the issue, are still collecting full fare and even exchanging arguments over the issue.
The officials informed the passengers to pass any information with regard to the bus conductors / drivers rejecting to give concessional tickets to senior citizens to control room number 99592 29869.
