More than 4000 candidates failed to attend UPSC exams

VISAKHAPATNAM: As many as 4,466 candidates out of the 13,7000 applicants of the UPSC preliminary examination have failed to attend the exam on Sunday.

The examination was conducted amidst tight security arrangements and senior IAS officers Lov Agarwal and Pravin Kumar supervised the examination as observers. Additional joint collector DV Reddy opened the locker and distributed the question papers to the examination centres. Collector Pravin Kumar has also visited the examination centres and directly monitored the situation.Candidates attended the exam at  LB College, VS Krishna College, Government Degree College for women and Bhashyam School.
