ELUGU:As many as 17 schoolchildren had a narrow escape when the their school bus overturned while trying to avoid hitting a boy who came across the road at Bangaru Cheruvu area of Yalamanchili mandal on Monday evening. The driver, identified as Arun Kumar, immediately pulled out children from the bus. The locals also rushed to the spot to rescue the other children trapped inside the bus. The bus belongs to Narayana School and was taking the students from Palacole to Pattupalem in Yalamanchili mandal. The incident occurred when the bus was on its return journey.
