AP Road Transport Corporation to operate 905 buses to Pushkar Ghats

GUNTUR: The Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (APSRTC) Guntur region will operate 905 buses to ferry passengers to Pushkar Ghats located in Guntur district as well as Krishna and Kurnool districts during the ensuing Krishna Pushkarams from August 12 - 23.

After making a survey of various Pushkar ghats from Nagarjuna Sagar to Penumudi, and consultating the revenue and police department officials, the APSRTC management decided to ply 905 buses to the Pushkar Ghats from various parts of the district.

The APSRTC Guntur Regional Manager Gnanamgari Shrihari said that apart from the main bus station (NTR bus stand in Guntur), they are also going to operate Pushkar buses from temporary bus stations to be set up on the premises of old RM Office, Wolf Hall Grounds, Goruntla Pushkar Ghat, AIIMS at Mangalagiri, Guntur Railway Station, Pedakurapadu Railway Station and Krishna Canal Junction.
