Three killed, 20 injured as bus turns turtle near Tirupati

TIRUPATI: Three passengers including a woman were killed and 20 others injured when a private bus skidded off the road and turned turtle at Rachagunneri, about 30 kms from here today.

The mishap occurred when the private bus was on its way to Bangalore from Vijayawada, Sudarshan, Inspector of Police, Sri Kalahasthi.

The deceased were identified as D Srinivas and V Mohan Rao, both from Kavali and Jhansi from Prakasam in Andhra Pradesh.

The condition of the injured who were admitted to SVRR Govt hospital here was stated to be stable, he said.
