ENC officers to get training at AU

VISAKHAPATNAM: A possible collaboration between Andhra University and the Eastern Naval Command (ENC) to impart training and higher education to the Navy staff was deliberated at a meeting between AU vice-chancellor G Nageswara Rao and Vice Admiral HCS Bisht, ENC at the headquarters of ENC on Friday.

Highlighting the core competencies of AU, the VC informed the different sectors in which both the organizations can work together, said a press note released by AU.

“All possible collaborative avenues with AU will be explored and once the deliverables are finalised, an MoU will be signed,” said the Vice-Admiral and thanked the university for the cooperation and support extended by it during the recently held International Fleet Review (IFR) programme.
