VISAKHAPATNAM: Two persons died and one child was injured in a wall collapse at the sector-2 of MVP Colony on Sunday. The deceased have been identified as Chintala Eswara Rao, who ekes out a living by pressing clothes and his son Dilip Kumar. They were in their hut beside an apartment complex, when the compound wall of the apartment complex collapsed and fell on their hut.
Eswar Rao’s daughter Bhargavi, who sustained injuries in the mishap was admitted in the hospital. She is said to be out of danger. Police registered a case and investigations are on.
