CRDA commissioner bats for quick distribution of land certificates

CRDA Commissioner Ch Sreedhar has directed officials to expedite the process of issuing LPOCs to farmers in the capital villages.

VIJAYAWADA: Capital Region Development Authority (CRDA) Commissioner Ch Sreedhar has directed officials to expedite the process of issuing Land Pooling Ownership Certificates (LPOCs) to farmers in the capital villages.

During a review meeting with the Village Competent Authorities and Tahsildars in the capital region of Amaravati here on Saturday, Sreedhar asked the officials to take steps for completing the registration process for those farmers who have already been given plots.

Congratulating officials of all wings of the Capital Region Development Authority over the successful completion of plot distribution in 10 villages so far, he encouraged officials to go ahead with same spirit in the remaining 19 villages and ensure that justice is not delayed to the farmers who had parted with their lands for the greater good of the State.

The officials were also directed to prepare day-wise reports over pug marking to those plots already allocated to farmers and  to organise ‘Mee Kosam’ programme at Capital Region Development Authority Thullur office every Monday to redress people’s grievances on the spot. On the controversy surrounding the assigned lands in Kuragallu village, the Capital Region Development Authority  Commissioner announced the appointment of a committee with three officials and promised a solution to the issue by organising an open forum in the village.

Capital Region Development Authority  Directors BL Chennakesava Rao (Lands), Mohana Rao (Estates) and N Prabhakar Reddy (IT) and Planning Officer G Nageswara Rao attended the meeting.
