VISAKHAPATNAM: A workshop on India Export and Import Policy will be organised jointly by the Director General of Foreign Trade, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, and GITAM Institute of Management at GITAM University here on Wednesday. Indian EXIM Policy contains various policy-related decisions taken by the government in the sphere of Foreign Trade with respect to imports and exports from the country and more especially export promotion measures, policies and procedures related thereto.
India and Export Import Policy aims at developing export potential, improving export performance, encouraging foreign trade and creating favourable balance of payments position. Keeping this in mind, Ministry Of Commerce And Industry is also conducting various awareness programmes under the head Niryat Bandhu.
