HYDERABAD: YSRC president YS Jagan Mohan Reddy had a close shave on Wednesday morning, when his speeding car swerved across and veered into bushes after a puncture.

En route to Hyderabad from Kurnool in Andhra Pradesh, Jagan and convoy had reached Palamakula of Shamshabad mandal in Rangareddy district when one of the tyres of his car was punctured. The driver swiftly applied breaks, and the car went off the road, into the bushes, but without leaving passengers injured.

“Because of the alertness of the driver, nothing happened either to the car or to the YSRC chief,” local people told Express.

As the tyre was being replaced, Jagan stood there surrounded by security personnel; the group left before long, added locals.
