Andhra woman lodges complaint against four-time married husband

VISAKHAPATNAM: The woman police station registered a case against a person on his fourth wife’s complaint on Monday. Interestingly, she had also married twice.

According to the police information, M Syamala (29), a beautician by profession, got married to a travel agency owner Jina Arun Kumar (35) from Saalagramapuram in October 2015. Since then, they are not happy with each other.

On the complaint of Syamala, police intervened in the matter and counselled them and tried their best to resolve the issues. They were even sent to the counselling sessions conducted by the District Legal Services Authorities (DLSA),Visakhapatnam, but in vain.

Syamala earlier married one PVB Sridhar and vexed with his attitude, separated on mutual consent. Later, she fell in love with Arun Kumar and married him too. Recently, Syamala came to know from some common friends that Arun Kumar had married thrice earlier.

She made some enquiries and confirmed Arun Kumar’s marital status. Then she went to the Three-town police station to lodge a complaint against him. Later on the advice of police officials, she approached the woman police station officials and submitted a written compliant to the ACP on Monday. “After we received a cheating complaint against J Arun Kumar, we registered a case and started investigation,” said Papa Rao, ACP of the woman police station.
