GUNTUR: The Guntur Municipal Corporation (GMC) organised the Happy Sunday programme at Hollywood Junction at Lakshmipuram.
Participating in the programme, GMC Commissioner Ch Anuradha appealed to people to cooperate with the municipal corporation in its efforts to make the city clean and green as part of ‘Swachh Guntur’. She also underlined the need for greater participation in ‘Happy Sunday’ as it helps increase the happiness index of the State.
Students of Abhyudaya Mahila Degree College presented a variety of cultural programmes, which enthralled the holiday crowd.
The Mangalagiri municipality organised ‘Happy Sunday’ at Galigopuram centre in the town. Students of the government and private schools presented cultural events. Municipal Chairman Ganji Chiranjeevi, Commissioner NV Nageswara Rao and others participated in the programme.
