Pawan Kalyan to begin four-day Andhra Pradesh tour today

The tour will begin at Visakhapatnam where Pawan will meet the employees of the Dredging Corporation of India (DCI) who are on a warpath against the Central proposal of privatisation of the PSU.

VIJAYAWADA: At a time when the political atmosphere of the State is heating up over the Polavaram and Kapu quota rows, Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan has decided to embark upon a tour covering Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, beginning Wednesday.The ‘Power Star’ will tour both the Telugu States in three phases and elicit public opinions about several policy decisions taken by the AP, Telangana and Central government.

The tour will begin at Visakhapatnam where Pawan will meet the employees of the Dredging Corporation of India (DCI) who are on a warpath against the Central proposal of privatisation of the PSU. On Dec 7, he will inspect the Polavaram project and elicit public opinion over the row. The next day, he will meet with the students of Fathima Medical College in Vijayawada whose seats have got cancelled.

He will interact with contract electricity staff and lecturers too. On December 9, Pawan will inspect the land where the Jana Sena Party office is proposed to be built and console the kin of the boat capsize victims in Ongole. Pawan released a song ‘Chalore Chalore Chal’ to sensitise youth on various pressing issues.
