GMC demolishes 43 houses 

The GMC authorities demolished 43 houses as part of road widening works on Nandivelugu Road here on Thursday.

GUNTUR: The GMC authorities demolished 43 houses as part of road widening works on Nandivelugu Road here on Thursday.  GMC city planner S Chakrapani said that widening of 120 feet road is being taken up as per the Master Plan. He said that the houses were demolished with the cooperation of officials of revenue and police departments. He said that temporary accommodation has been provided to evictees at Rajiv Gruha Kalpa in Adavitakkellapadu area.  GMC chief Ch Anuradha assured the evictees of allotting houses at the earliest.
