Preparations in full swing ahead of CM Naidu's first budget session from Amaravati

N Chandrababu Naidu to conduct the Andhra Budget Session from the new building, constructed at Velagapudi in the capital region of Amaravati from March 6.

VIJAYAWADA: With Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu announcing to conduct the Andhra Budget Session from the new building, constructed at Velagapudi in the capital region of Amaravati from March 6, state Assembly staff started shifting to the new location from Hyderabad.

And to complete the formalities for holding the Budget session, the Assembly Speaker Kodela Siva Prasad Rao also announced to occupy his chambers in the new building on Monday (February 27), for discharging his duties from the new location.

Legislative Affairs Minister Yanamala Ramakrishnudu will also enter into his chambers on the same day and pass instructions to the officials over the conduct of the Budget session.

The annual Budget for 2017-18 fiscal will be tabled in the Legislative Assembly on March 13.
