The State government has deputed 10 examiners besides 3 headmasters as checking squads to the centre. Despite the presence of examiners and checking squads, applicants have indulged in mass copying. They even overlooked the media intervention and got themselves busy with the mass copying. The invigilators and checking squad were also said to have turned a blind eye to the malpractice.

Rumors were rife that the TTC college managements have bribed the examiners and checking squads.
As a result, they have allowed applicants to copy chits. A constable was seen sitting outside the examination centre. On seeing the media, the examiners alerted the applicants to throw away the copy chits from the window. Head mistress Kalavathi rubbished the rumours of mass copying at the centre.
Mandal education officer G Prabhakar was unavailable for comment.
