APPSC Group II Mains underway

VIJAYAWADA: Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) Group II Mains examination was held on Saturday afternoon. Around  49,386 candidates who qualified in Group II prelims. including candidates from Hyderabad, appeared for Group II Mains exam 2017.

The examination was conducted online where every candidate received a jumbled set of questions. Candidates have been prohibited from carrying electric watches and calculators into the examination centre. As far as the question paper is concerned, majority of the candidates found the aptitude segment a bit tricky. 

CCTV surveillance has also been installed to prevent any malpractice. Candidates can access only virtual calculator on their computer monitors. Pen and paper are being provided at the exam centre. APPSC also arranged around 20 examination centres in Hyderabad.  

The examination will also take place on Sunday in two different sessions. The first session is between 10.00 AM and 12.30 PM and the second session between 2.30 PM and 5.00 PM.  Candidates should bring their hall ticket and one original photo id only to the examination centre.
