GUNTUR: A one-month-old baby girl was found abandoned at the canteen of Government General Hospital in the city on Tuesday.
According to Dr Y Ramesh, RMO , on finding the crying baby girl at the hospital canteen, some people informed the matter to the GGH authorities. Though the GGH staff enquired about her parents, no information was obtained. After taking the girl into possession, the GGH authorities lodged a complaint with the local police. The police who examined the CCTV camera footage, found that some outsiders left her at the canteen. She would be handed over to the Woman and Child Welfare Department, the RMO said.
